 A momentous Mass Oathtaking Ceremony for the newly elected Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials (BSKOs) of Alabel was held, signifying the start of a new chapter in local governance and youth leadership.

The ceremony, organized by the Municipal Government of Alabel, took place at Alabel Municipal Civic Gymnasium. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests and other local government officials.

The importance of collaboration and accountability among the newly sworn-in officials was emphasized. “Your oath is not just a ceremonial act. It is a commitment to serve your constituents with integrity and dedication,” was a key message conveyed during the event.

The newly elected officials from Alabel’s barangays pledged to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to them by their communities. Among them were Barangay Captains, Sangguniang Barangay Members, SK Chairpersons, and SK Kagawads, who vowed to prioritize programs focusing on public welfare, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.

The event concluded with a message of unity and optimism, as officials expressed their readiness to face the challenges ahead and work collectively for a progressive Alabel.

This historic gathering marks the beginning of a promising term for Alabel’s grassroots leaders, setting the tone for collaborative governance and community development.

 Bionote: Lilibeth "Ybing" J. Salarda, MPA Lilibeth "Ybing" J. Salarda, MPA, is a distinguished public servant and community leader from Alabel, Sarangani Province. A proud graduate of Alabel’s public education system, she holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Bukidnon State University. Her extensive career in government service spans decades, during which she has made remarkable contributions to local governance, tourism, agriculture, and community development.   Ybing began her career as a staff member of the Municipal Accounting Office under the late Mayor Hernando L. Sibugan.
